Hey ppl!! This is my very first post of year 2007!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! =D
First of all, so sorry for not updating my blog. I have been very busy for the past few days. Yea, busy working. hahax. I guess some of you must be so surprise that this nerd or that u know actually work. hahax. yes, i do work. Actually, i had sent my application form early dec, they only phone me a few days back. I thought that i dont wanna waste this opportunity, hence i didnt decline. =)
Actually, the work there isnt tedious, the only thing is that you must be able to stand for hours. And i mean 8-11 hrs. =) Hahax. On my first day of work, i stood for abt 6 hrs, and my legs nearly surrendered. hahax. Actually I stood the whole days without sitting down at all. Because i got lost while finding a place named Prinsep Street. hahax. If you dont believe, you can ask viv. I phone her serveral times to ask for direction cuz she's online. After collecting my uniform, i had to rush to take my jab. Ok. It's actually painful, it took me 2 days before i dare to take off the plaster. =/ After the jab, i report straight to work and work all the way till 1a.m! phew~ Luckily, i have my company's cab home, and it's merz!! muahaha. That is my first time in my life taking merz! Like oh my god. lol..
I felt that that day was kinda meaningful. The reason i said so is because when i was at the building to collect my uniform, i saw this 2 young ladies, 1 is 18, the other is 22. When i reached the clinic to take my jab, i saw the both of them agn. After the jab, i went to mac to take a quick bite and guess what?? I met them agn. So the 3 of us sat on the same table and started chatting, as if we know each other for ages. I consulted the 22 yrs old uni student abt whether i shld take bio or phy. Yes, this prob agn, i'm really confused. But anyway, i'm still undecided. But i feel like trying out phy more than bio. Cuz i heard that bio is all abt MICROBIOLOGY, VIRUS............. which i have no interest in. Also, i met this guy at the building, guess what? He's actually my colleague. hahax. The world is kinda small huh?
I learnt quite a lot of things, get to see what the real world is abt. Yea, i absolutely agree that working is not a simple task at all. Especially in such places where lots of team work is required. If your colleague doesnt like u, u're bound to be isolated by them.
Yes, on my first day, i worked for 6 hrs, then 10, 11, 10, 8. I'm filled with joy that my hourly pay for yesterday, today and tmr would 1.5 times the normal rate!! yay!! =D Hahax. I think i shld have earned abt 200 ++ bucks by today!! =D I know you guys must be wondering where am i working, one big clue ok. I had ice cream on my first day of work, and also yesterday.
Oh ya, before i forget, sharon messaged me yesterday when i was working. She came to find me after work, which is suppossed to be 11p.m, but due to the crowd, my knocking off time was pushed back by 20 mins. Argh. Anyway, sharon said she feel like eating ice cream, so i went back and told my colleague to get me a Bel Choc Cone ice cream!! =) So sharon and i shared the ice cream and count down together!! =D
Yesterday was really crowded, everyone was there to countdown. So you can imagine the crowd yea?? Some ppl can ask for as many as 13 seats!!! hahax. People come and go, some looking pleased, while some looked kinda pissed off. Oh.. did i mention that i saw Ms Sim, you know that E Maths teacher?? I have to serve her!! Like.. oh no!! She was looking at my name tag lah. * digging a hole!* LOL. I saw PAUL TWOHILL TOO!! MUAHAHA!! lol.
I worked the first shift today, that is why you can see me online blogging. Otherwise i would still be facing the same crowd, shouting across the restaurant, using sign language to communicate with my colleages. lol. I was so so so delighted to be able to arrange the cakes and cut the fruits. Cuz only the senior workers are able to do that. And today the Assist Manager injured her finger, so she instructed me to help her! =) I helped themwith the fondue making!! hehex.
Talking abt injuries, i have no idea how i got a 2.5 cm long cut on my left arm 2 days ago, and a 3cm long cut on my right arm yesterday and a 0.1 cm deep cut on my middle finger today. I'm wondering where would my next cut be, as in tmr. lol. Now my both feets have bruises. Kinda painful, but nvm lah. hahax.
