Yesterday was the last day of the band day camp. Oh.. finally the other three of them turned up. lol. ms yip even treated us drinks, so nice of her. Actually i didn't teach much, was simply too tired to teach?? But i was glad that Joy and Avril initiated to ask me how to play Spartans of Tomorrow. Of course i'm more than willing to teach them! =)
Oh.. something stupid happened when i was trying to help the perc section move their instruments. Apparently, the band rm was so cramp, so i had a difficult time moving the instruments when suddenly the clash cymbals dropped and hit my hand and feet. *ouch!* And you can see the gradual change in colour of my hand, from beige to pink to red and to purple-red! lol. Actually it's not that painful lah. I'm just exaggerating. When i went home, i just realise that the clash cymbals caused a minor cut on my legs!! lol.. ok.. i'm so slow~ Don't mind me. hahax.
At around 4p.m, ms yip said she wants to play abt 3 pieces before proceeding to marching. So yea, we played Hornpipe, a super nice song! St. Peter's march, a easy yet nice marching piece. And.... er... i forgot what else we played. hahax. So me,sj,bj left for home at 4.30p.m to change for later AC Band concert.
yay!! I was super excited man!! Again, ppl were late. So we ended up being there at 7.20p.m. So the ACS(I) symphonic band started by playing The Pink Panther. omg! i tell you, it's so funny. I didn't expect ppl to start walking down the stairs and play. And there is this alto sax boy who started playing beside me, and i started laughing like siao. Erm.. and i actually caused him to laugh a little and lose his concentration?? opps... lol.. I just find him so cute!! lol.. i think he's only sec 1. ok.. don't think wai... =)
Finally, the ACJC Band started playing their 2 pieces. It's so nice!! Definitely better than the one when the sec 4s played together with them. hahax. They played Harry Potter Symphonic Suite and StarWars Trilogy!! Oh my... it's nice. But i like StarWars Trilogy better! =) And i seriously like Pirates of the Caribbean lots!!! hehex... Not forgetting, "Stand By Me" played by ACS(I) band, it's seriously nice. ANd i have the music score for that song!! =) The combined AC Band performance was thumbs up!! Abt 200 over ppl playing together on the same stage, wow.. that feeling is really great. Only if i have the chance... sigh...
So the concert ended perfectly!! =) oh... we got a free ride home too!! Shan't mention who sent us home. SO yea.. i enjoyed myself lots yesterday night.
